    This weekend the wife and I celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. The wife asked me if I wanted to spend the weekend crappie fishing or taking her to the beach for the weekend. My mama didn't raise a fool I told her I had much rather spend the weekend at the beach with her than chasing crappie. So off to the beach I go.

    BEACH!! The surf bite has been off the chain the last few weeks. Flounder, redfish, spanish mackeral, drum, whiting and pomps been very active.
