That is awesome! Second pic really shows how the fish just seem to expand as they grow larger. Did you try any jigs at all?
First one at Burton's 5 AM for minnows, up to Mecca free ramp to beat the Corp Chal crowd - NO DICE. I couldn't launch my boat without backing my entire car in to the lake, the water is just too high. I busted a tail light on a submerged rock but no serious damage. So I pack back up and head to W bridge ramp and pay my $20 entry fee. By now it is 6 AM. The W lot has at least 15 cars already. So I hit the first cove south of W bridge on the right, you know the one I'm sure. Well, it wasn't fast action, but between 6:30 and 9:30 I bagged 12 nice fish including a 14 1/2". I was fishing 3-4 feet under bobber about 20 feet off the bank. I never left that cove but I prolly should have. It took me 3 more hours to weed through dinks to get my limit, but limit I did!!! Now when I close my eyes I see my bobber swimming off.....love it! Here are some picks. I'm holding up a 12" male black vs the 14 1/2" female white. Who wins? I do!! It was a great day!!! Get out there it's heating up!

Mon you did well, congrats.
Hi Vic, no I didn't try any jigs but others were using them and catching some but minnows by far worked the best. I saw yellow/white and purple/pink being used.

Nice !
May all your live wells be full.Dave
Nice fish! Thanks for sharing.
Nice
Congrats on the limit. Thanks for the report and pics.
Nice report! Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like you did better than a whole lot of CC people. Tough conditions when the water is that dirty and they're letting so much water out. I'm impressed!
