Truman report 5/6*

Got out this morning before work with a good friend. Fished from 8am to noon and ended up with 25 good fish and 10-12 fish 10" or less. We had several fish over 1 1/2 lb again today. We fished back in a couple creeks/coves and out on some flats. 8'-12' was the best depth and really need some brush/beds out of the current to get bit. Jarrod fished a 3" Blk/Pink Daddee Shad and I used a 3 1/2" Mike's Custom Bait in Blk/Chart and a 3" Bobby Garland in Storm Warning "Hot Pink/Chart". Not sure color made much difference but staying real close to but out of the current was the ticket. Multiple fish off the trees with out current and move 10 yards and not get bit off what looked to be a better looking tree that had current. As soon as they shut the water off and back to normal pool it will be on fire fishing summer time pattern on the flats.

Jarrod just text a pic and said we had 9.30 lbs on best 7. Not bad for 4 hours. Could not ask for a nicer day to be out. Great temps and almost no wind. Forgot to add most of our fish had spawned out.

We were up River a good ways. I was hiding out in a Nitro Z7 today in a buddies boat.
