    Default Stockton Report*

Well, I did manage to catch 19" and 17" keeper walleye rigging jig and minnows on Stockton Wednesday. Also kept 7 male crappie. Everything came from 25 FOW. Not as much fun as one pole crappie fishing, but a nice change. That clear water sure is a shock after fishing Truman Saturday. I could see the line 6-8 feet down. That might have something to do with the male crappie hiding that deep.

Sounds like a pretty good day. Stockton is tough right now. Atleast you didn't go home empty handed.

Thursday humbled me. No walleye and 2 or 3 keeper crappie. Did catch 3, 3-5# channel cat though. This is my story this year wherever I fish. Here one day gone the next. The Fickle Fish of Fate. Not many will understand the reference to that icon of TV comedy.
