    Default Truman dam has been hot report*


    they been running water for 3 days at the dam yesterday brought home 9 keepers but I know i caught over 100 fish, went tonight and bigger ones were biting , brought home 14 crappie and 5 white bass bet i thru back at least 2 limits of 9 inch fish

    They are running water 24/7 while the lake is high. You can check power generation schedule at swpa website.

    Yea the small crappie can be exhausting to catch. And if you're using minnows, it can make you run out in short time. I normally fish for the wipers there now in the early mornings and late evenings.

    Is the road open above the dam? Heard it was closed in March and was wondering if they have opened it since then?
