Default pvc rope tie up to brush tool??

At Truman this past weekend, we saw several boats had this white stick looking thing they used to 'hook' on to brush and then cinch it and it looked like it worked great. Anyone know the name of this tool? Thank you in advance.

Very similar but the pole portion was around 3' and when locked down you didn't move anywhere and there was some serious wind, we couldn't take it.

Make 2! I made 2 and you can tie off better sometimes to two objects to steady the boat in higher winds. 1 will hold you at what ever length it is away from the object and you will drift witht he wind.
Trust me, much better to have 2 than only 1 and wanting another.
