    Default Need some help

Need some help! Having trouble finding crappie on my home lake. It’s a nice size lake but their only 2 very small feeder creeks that only runs when we get a lot a rain. There are lots of points and lots of rock. The water depth is an average of about 30 ft with the deepest being around 100ft at the dam area which is the south end of lake. With feeder creeks being almost non-existent where should I start looking for good spots?
thanks for all the good help

i'd still fish the area of the feeder creeks esp where they transition to the deeper water I'd key on any cover even a stick I've never seen crappie at 100 ft but that's not to say it couldn't happen I would also fish around the drain If you have a fishfinder Work out a grid and slowly troll the lake And mark them Spider rigging may be a good way to start that way you could fish and mark fish at the same time and if you don't have fish finder troll anyway with several diff depths and remember where theres one thees usually a skillet full

Target the brush along the shore. A slip float with a jig and minnow works well.

The north end is pretty dingy and the south end is not clear but is a little clearer the north. The north end is where I will catch them when spawn starts
