Talquin , cresent ,clark hill , Oconee don't have a fifth
My fishing buddy and I are getting a list of the 5 to 10 top crappie lakes in the so called southern states. So far we have fished Grenada, Talquin and crescent and all the lakes in South Carolina. So let me hear from you as to what is a top lake for crappie fishing in your state. We had planned on Weiss in Alabama and Reelfoot in Tenn in the fall. THanks

KY Lake is the best around here.
Set da hook
I would consider Weiss, Logan Martin, and Pickwick in Alabama with multiple lakes close behind. Ross Barnett, Arbuckula, Sardis in Mississippi. The Ga lakes leave much to be desired. You have already hit this best in Florida besides Lochloosa. It all depends on what you looking for and timing?
Stickmarsh/farm 13.
It's famous for the size and numbers of bass that can be caught there, but truth be told, it's a major hot spot for 'specs' as we call em down here
toledo bend....that's south.... Darbonne.....poverty point.....
I would have to agree with Logan Martin if you're there at the right time.

Reelfoot is great, and beautiful you should really consider it and Ky lake also. fall fishing may be better at ky lake than Reelfoot tho IMO.
