    Default need light weight 12' jigging rod


    hey guys,
    i bought a $29. wally marshal jigging rod just to try out, swinging jigs up to docks.
    its a little heavier then i like.

    can i get something alot lighter if i spend more money? lets say under $65.

    appeciate any suggestions.

    Call Lewie at Grizzly Jig. He sells one he put together himself that is 12 ft and light as a feather. Guys I have talked to that have them love em.

    i just talked with lewie. i could save a once with lighter rod, but will be sacrificing durability.

    Send a PM to BigBlue. He is fishing some of the Denali rod's and I know he fishes a 12ft a lot. From what he has told me they are really light and strong. Saw a post where when one guy called them the offered him 30% off list. Don't know that for a fact and also heard Grizzly was stocking some of them.

    I have HT Panfish in graphite for $24.95 that is light weight and very sensitive.

    one once lighter then mine.
    going to give one a try, just ordered one, thx!
    going to put a lighter reel on it too. i'll knock 5oz. of my setup.
