smithville 4-23-16 report

Its been awhile since I have been on here... Yesterday I got a late start (had to kill a nice Tom ) so I didn't get to Smithville until 1000 hrs. Fished from Roberts to free ramp, quit at 1700. I managed 3 crappie, although all were keepers. Never saw anyone catch one and everyone I spoke with said it was slow. I fished the bank out to 10ft. Water was 62-69*. It should have been easy to catch at least dinks. Gonna try it again today as I have my nephew with me.

Good luck today.....I had the same luck as you yesterday. Hopefully you will find them today, but you will have to fight the wind
