Crappies from Lake Wappapello taste the best to me. Anyone else have any preferences?

My taste buds are not that refined. When it comes to fish...I am like a back alley wino. 7 dollar bottle of grocery store wine or 100 dollar bottle of the finest French cabernet....in the end I am gonna polish it off.

I prefer wintertime crappie from cold water over any others. The rest are awful good though.

I would rather eat the 9 to 10" size over the bigger sizes.
Batter to meat ratio is best.
    With Andys of course.
