Default LOZ Trip 4-12 thru 4-15....IT WAS ON!!!

Stayed at the Silver Sands and fished the 36 to 45 mile marker. Tues was fairly slow but I did get my limit before noon. The switch was flipped on Weds and I had a limit at 9:30 am. Went back out that evening and the bite was crazy, I don't know how many I caught and released but it was a lot. Thurs morning I had a limit by 8:30 am and Tazstone finally made it down in the evening for another hot bite. Taz and I fished Friday and both limited out at 8:15 am. This was one of the better spring bites I've ever had. I did not catch many fish on the bank, almost all were on the side of the docks, or between the docks and bank. I did hit the mother load shooting a bluff dock in 50 fow. Shooting under cables was also the ticket. As far as jig colors anything with chartreuse. I was using slab busters and slab slayers on 1/16 weedless jig heads. Awesome weather, awesome fishing, awesome trip for sure.

    Awesome
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
