    Question spinning rod

does anyone know where i can fine a 6' 1 piece lite action spinning rod. all i can fine is 2 piece and i just don't like them. i fish with spinning rods and fly rods only and i like a longer 1 piece rod but i also don't want to spend a fortune on one either.

Go to Grizzly Jig and look around there. Call them and they can help you out. They have more crappie poles than you can imagine. They are located in Southwest Missouri...good folks.

I'm not sure what you consider a fortune, but the Loomis SR720 is very nice for just about $115. St. Croix Avid's are in the same price range and very nice. St. Croix has some cheaper lines as well.

The Quantum Xtralites are sweet little rods. I have a 6.5 footer, but they make a 6' rod, also. They go for around $50.

BPS has their Microlite's on sale now for $30. I have two, and they're nice rods.

Finally, check out Cabela's house rods. I have one of their Fish Eagle II's, but I've also heard good things about the Tourney Trail ($60) and Pro Guide ($40) rods.

How much do you want to spend?

This is a nice IM7 6.6 at real good price - 1 piece.

Here is another from Falcon - made in the USA

This is probably a killer rod. IM10 - never seen IM10, but I bet its ultra sensitive.

G-Loomis and St. Croix have some that are really good rods. I have a 6' 1pc St. Croix and a 6'6" 1pc G-loomis spinning that I use and they are great.

I have found that Gander Mountain has a good supply of different types of rods. Although, they are over-priced on some things, and it is usually the things I am needing.
