    Default Xpress duck boat revamp

I recently finished a complete overhaul of an Xpress 1546 I picked up cheap. Put around $600 and a lot of time in it but I think it's better than a new one. I'll attach a few pics of it just incase anyone might need some ideas. First couple are the boat when I bought it. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1460236068035.jpg

Pretty awesome! I user named yellanman recreated a similar boat in a similar fashion over on refugeforums.com.

How did you wire your boat up? Recently bought a new HD16DB and no way to run wires internally that I can find. Any help and ideas would be appreciated!

I ran all my wiring in the rub rail. Not sure about the new ones but mine has a rubber strip inside the rail. Remove it and there is a lot of room in there for wires.

    Nice job.

As a big guy, I had several similar sized boats over the years and still can't explain how I managed to keep my butt dry when hunting and fishing out of them. After having big boats for several years, I think I would get claustrophobic in a small jon boat now.
