That's a nice bunch of fish. Congrats.
Met up with Gordon this morning at Bucksaw. Wind forecast was 7 to 15 so Gordon said add 10. Stopped at the marina for minnows and headed up lake. One wet hat and one wet pfd later we found a bluff out of the wind and started rigging. Fished straight minnows and jigs tipped with minnows. Best bite was 10 to 12 feet down on 13 to 16 fow. Off the water by 3 with 25 keepers all over 10 with most 11 to 12 with a couple of real toads. Good day but wish the wind would just stop.

It always seems to me like the days the wind don't blow hard and the fish are biting good are rare.....but they sure are nice. I sure hope tomorrow is one of those days....only forecasting a 5 mph wind in the morning and maybe even calm in the afternoon. I think I have been fishing about ten times since first of February and I have not been yet it hasn't been blowing 15 plus with gust to 20 plus. A couple times it gust to 30 or so. It's really bad when you're a cast fisherman like me trying to hold position ....just have to stand on that trolling motor. Wet ride when it's cold stink too.
You sure done good.
Nice !
May all your live wells be full.Dave
Nice mess thanks for the report
Great times, Jeff. That wind is getting old. Tired of fishing in it, paddling in it, doing yard work in it, just tired of the constant blowing. This is a lesson for anyone that would ever want to live in Patagonia, their wind makes this look like a soft breeze.
Good laughs and stories.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
Good jobs guys.
Thanks for the report.
Nice job
Nice!
Those are some dandies. Nice mess. Hope to get into em next week. Forecast for mid-end of next week is finally looking like a few days of real springtime steady temps.
