Way to keep after them. Congrats
well it's April so keep plugging away they are probably biting somewhere. Launched at Coffman at 0650 hours and did not get anything until 0930 hours. Found one dock in upper Gravios Mill that produced 7 and then ran to a familiar location half way down Indian Creek and limited out. I was shooting the back of a dock and a fella came down to fish. I probably stayed an hour more shooting the breeze and was given information on where some other brush piles were. More important I got to meet a fellow fisherman on a spring day. Caught several fish on minnows but the more productive tactic was pitching a jig into a deeper shaded well and shooting under a pontoon over brush. On the retrieve I was giving the jig a little twitch which the fish seemed to like. I think Mr. Marshall calls it the Wally Wiggle on a You Tube video. Water temp early at Coffman was 49 degrees and when I left at 1230 it was 53 degrees in Indian Creek. Good day for sure!
Way to keep after them. Congrats
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
Nice!
