Does anyone know if the Bronze Star Bait Co. out of Windsor,Mo. is still operating? Also how to get ahold of or to order if they are.

If I remember correctly he had a post last year on FB stating he was shutting down. Also if I remember correctly he poured carrots from Do-It and spade tails from Jacobs Baits.

I found this on CDC, you might check and see if he's still a member and contact him on here.

Snoball .... which model of those baits are you interested in purchasing ?? If we know that, we may be able to point you in the direction of other members that make them ... in the event this bait maker is no longer in business.

For instance ... should you be interested in the "carrot" style bait, I'd suggest looking on the Member Sponsor Classifieds forum for Slabanator Jigs and check out his creations. He makes the shad stinger, curly tail, carrot, and twin tail models. He has different "names" for those models. Here's a pic showing the 4 models :

Last I remember snoball asked late last year about the 3" spade tail Dave was producing or if it wasn't the spade tail it was very close. I have thought about purchasing this mold at times as I've been asked about it but just haven't yet and don't know if I will.

    SPADE TAIL - 3" - 6 cavity mold - JACOBS MOLD & MACHINE

And if that spade tail isn't available from our members .... there's always Snake River's (Bob's Baits) "Firebug" or "Arkansas" 2" grubs ( page 4 )

I appreciate and thank you all for your answers.
DrNip was correct in that I was interested in the larger 3" version of the spade tail type of bait.
Like that bait for the single pole type of dipping that I like.
Had a friend tell me that Todd Huckabee bought the old Yum molds of this bait and is now selling them.
    Will look into that.
