has anyone tried this flasher unit, looks good for the price. It has 600 watt peak to peak compared to 400 on the vexilar, does that make it more powerful or what does this actually mean? It has the 3 color display and everything for $199 after rebate. How does this compare to the vexilar 8 unit, any advantages or disadvantages of the vx 1 compared to the vexilars?

I did a search on Mozilla Firefox on "Vexilars vs. Marcums" and came up with lots of threads of people discussing it.Looks like a topic with lots of opinions.

I personally own a Zercom Clearwater Classic.A relic compared to Vexilars or Marcum.

I'm steering towards a Vexilar myself.Probably the fl-18

I'm going to wait one more season before I buy.Look around.I would.:D
