Great looking color!!!
The wind is howling at about 40 mph this morning and it snowed last night after our nice temps got bounced out in front of a major cold front so I have stayed in the garage this morning. I liked the blue gunmetal so well that I put things together using a purple version. Same basic recipe for the gunmetal plastic except it uses purple .015 glitter instead of the blue. I hand poured some clear-fire opal bellies and injected the first round of gunmetal atop of it and they turned out just this side of primo. So.... I heated some chartreuse and dug out the Do-It Twin Injector and did a mold full using that technique and they too are something else. The mold is the Do-It 2 1/2" Fry bait mold. They looked like they could use some peekers for the picture so I added eyes to these shown and did the cover dip. The eyes are 4mm Bogg's eyes.
These are headed for my box. I can see a crappie hanging on them in the future.
Great looking color!!!
Here's another injection using the Do-It Twin Injector, this time with a smaller bait...the Jacobs 1 7/8" Silverfish.
These baits have gotten a full cover dip, from nose to just before the tail splits. The separation of the colors is great and even in the smaller tail the colors have stayed separate. The dime is for size relationship.
Good stuff right there. You had me at hello with that chartreuse/purple.
CTom your purple & chartreuse sure are a sweet looking color combo, you have outdid yourself again...
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....
