Weiss Lake Tournament 4-9-2016

We will hold our next tournament at Weiss Lake on 4-9-2016. Registration and weigh in will be held at the public launch at the causeway on Hwy 9/68. tournament director is Jerry Culberson 256-557-0023. You may register between 5:30-6:00 AM. Fish from 6:30 AM-2:00 PM and must be back to weigh in by 3:00 PM. Entry fee is $50.00 per team. Teams may be 1 or 2 persons or 1 or 2 persons with a child under age 16. Everyone come out and join the fun of fishing for crappie and being around others who enjoy the same thing.

The club had 13 teams who came and fished the tournament in conditions which were not very good. The tournament was won by Sonny Sipes and Ronnie Bleas with 7.79 lbs. and they also had big fish with a 2.10 lb. slab. Second was Phil Trapp and Joe Hayes with 7.56 lbs. Third was Donnie Clayton and Gary Barber with 6.70 lbs. Fourth was Jerry Culberson and Mike Ward with 6.48 lbs. Congrats to all.

I hate to miss club events but I didn't envy you guys and gals battling the wind on that shallow mud hole. Conditions were sunny and 70 in the Music City Convention Center. Looking forward to the Wildcard at the Big G.
