    we caught 14 shell crackers by accident long lining for crappie up at Scottsboro last week. Hitting a Charlie brewers slider in blue and chartruse and hitting the motor oil color as well .They were hanging on the edge of a weed line in about 6 ft water.

    Been catching several longlinning as well several recent trips they have been blown up with eggs looks like it may start early with some.

    Thanks for the report guys ,just recently tied up some jigs for shellcracker and wanted to see if I could coax a strike or two.
