Update on Bro. Jack Dowdy

First I want to thank you all for the prayers for Bro. Jack Dowdy. The way that I am connected to this wonderful man is that my older brother is married to Bro. Dowdy's daughter.
Bro. Dowdy is now in a rehab facility getting intensive therapy about 3 or 4 times a day. He is makeing a small bit of progress each day. He has feeling in his legs but still not able to use them. I have always heard that if there is feeling there is the potential for movement. He is also , with assistance, able to sit up. I was told by a therapist that alot of the times when someone has injury to the C1 vertbre it is a miracle that they survive.
Bro, Jack Dowdy still has a very long way to go but I know with the help of our precious LORD he will makeit.
I sit here typeing this note with tears in my eyes overwhelmed by the way that the people of Crappie.com have responded. May GOD bless you all and please keep those prayers comeing.
