I'm heading down to Clewiston for a week of Crappie, bream, and Oscar fishing. Staying at Roland Martin Marina. Any CDC guys gonna be there then? Any tips on crappie on the lake?

Go through the locks by Rolands and head east in the canal about 3 miles its the 3rd or 4th cut on your left. There will be a big concrete wall on your right. Go out to the lake about 2 or 3 miles and start looking for beds. and head east. I think you might be a little early though. Bird Island by Lakeport is good for Crappie this time of year. Or father north by the Kissemi River.

My Cousin just returned from there today, had a good bluegill bite but said the crappie were slow, weather was bad while he was there, hopefully your timing will be better than his...he tried the Oscars too and they were not doing much either.....good luck!
