Locktite makes a special 2 part epoxy just for plastic that is good. Have repaired several transducer brackets with it. Find it at Lowes or Home Depot. Just make sure to follow directions. Also do a serch on ebay. Might find a reel like yours for parts pretty cheap.

yes it was very clean, hot soap and water and lacquer thinner , I put 1 drop of glue to set it then turned it over and put more glue on both sides.....it sat for 3 days then put back on reel, then sat another 2 days before I started using it ..not sure if there is enough surface area to use JB-WELD

I imagine it is too thin to drill it and pin the halves together, but you might try cutting a little section of 1/16 round rod and gluing that across the face of the piece. You would get more surface area to glue to and it might help keep it all together.

Have you considered one of the new UV Light bonding adhesive products ??

Don't know anything about them, but there are more brands on the market than the "as seen on TV" brands.

I found my old dremel tool....I think I might be able to drill a tiny hole about the size of a small brim hook...cut hook to get a piece about 1/4 long then glue it in...I have thought about the new UV glue....think I might try the Loctite super glue that's a 2 part glue......thanks to everyone for giving me some ideas and getting me thinking....
