Exclamation Poll - New Rod or RodHolder System?

I'm going to do some "necessity" shopping tomorrow, and I can't decide on what to get. I'm stuck between getting a very nice casting rod, or getting a blackwido rod holding system for trolling later this month. I can't decide, so I figured I'd let my crappie.com board brothers vote. What do you think?

When doing entertainment shopping, buy something you want; like the rod holders.
When I buy new rods, it is always a neccesity; like I broke one, or I laid it down and a fish ran off with it. Uh Oh!! That would make a rod holder a necessity too.
    Good idea with a poll.

Get the rod holder. They are pretty nice to have.

No doubt! I'd take the rod holders.

got 3 of them black widow holders on my boat and love em, fish 3/4th of the year with em somehow or the other. But you can't get a chicken without it being an egg first. A pole can catch a fish, but a rod holder without a pole is useless. We'll assume you have poles so get the holder.

Get the rod holder. I'd hate to lay that nice rod on the deck of the boat and step on it...... At least, that's what I would tell my wife if I wanted both.

Hi-Tek makes awesome rod holders. I would look at them before you buy anything else. I have them and used many different kinds before them, and they are the best design by far. Easiest to install as well.
