Terrible is the report. Went yesterday and caught 5 6" fish.

Wapp was very windy today. Launched just before daylight and headed to Asher Creek to hide from the wind. Found fish in 3 feet of water. Caught 30-40 dinks. Brought home ten from 10-13 inches. Straight minnows worked best followed by jigs tipped with minnows. red/char, black/char on roadrunner heads. Caught several on jigs tipped with a nibble but all of the keeper fish went after minnows.

fished it fri from 8-3pm took my grandpa who is 86 now. he's a life long single pole guy and never really got the hang of the spider rigging but he did it anyway. i think he just wanted to watch me catch fish. we started on main lake flats and did ok but wind blew us back to asher. we ended up with 10 keepers but really shoulda brought home 15 or more. like i said he never really got used to the spider rigging. minnows worked ok early but best bite for me was on lime and chart jigs. been avg bout 12 keeps per trip and lime/chart has been hot color for a month for me. caught most keepers in 3-7fow
