Hey guys! Just moved down to Ridgeland, MS not too long ago from Minnesota. I'm working for Primos Hunting producing their hunting show. I used to produce/film for a fishing show up in Minnesota called In-Depth Outdoors, mostly ice fishing, something foreign down here in Miss. The last 3 years I averaged about 250 days a year on the water (or ice) per year, mostly chasing Walleyes, Muskie, Pike and Panfish.

However, I've found the fishing and techniques (like more than one line per angler) down here in the reservoirs a little different and I'm excited to learn.

I quickly learned the Crappie is KING! I've always loved catching slabs, and a huge crappie up north is about 15", so when I found out that's pretty common here, I was all in! I live less than a mile from the reservoir so that's probably where I'll call home, but not afraid to travel in search of fish!

Just bought a little 16' War Eagle with a 40hp, and enough crappie gear to make me dangerous (mostly to myself)!


I met Don Don down at the access last night and he said most of ya'll were terrible people so I figured I might fit in!
