thanks rango. now maybe we can get some folks to participate on this board.
because the sc board hasnt had an actively participating moderator in some time, i have asked ed if he would let me be the moderator of this board and he has agreed. I live in sc and do most of my fishing in sc so i felt it would benefit the sc guys to have an active moderator. Ive been doing most of my posting on the nc board, but that will change and ill be using the sc site for most of my future posts on crappie fishing. thanks guys
Rango

Hey tool. yeah, i feel much better about posting in sc since thats where i do most of my fishing also. you done great last night. it aint often the center seat on the beast gets as much attention as it did last night. you get ready to go again, let me know. Im going tomorrow night with marty (coach) for a few hours.. he said he had to leave at 10 pm, which will suit me fine as it seems most of the hot fishing is over with by then years ago, when i used to make all my nights all nighters, there seemed to be three times in a night when the bite was hot.. from dark till about ten or ll, then from one to three, and the last hour before daylight. Im not able to handle it any more most nights to do an alnighter and i used to couldnt get anyone to go with me because i had a rep for staying allnight.

Did I see you mtoring around Allison Creek sunday morning in a Bass Tracker?
Congrats Rango. It's good to see that more people are starting to post on the SC board. I hope more people will start talking here about fishing. I hate to say it but most fishermen here in SC are sort of closed mouth about how and where they fish... I would like to see this change. We can all help each other. I know that you've been a great help to the NC group.
I fish the upper Santee Swamp most of the time in the winter and spring.. I do go to Wateree in the sprimg also and just last year tried a little trolling there. Many years ago I did some night fishing at Wateree. I've been following you and the others nightstalkers actions for about a year now.
I haven't been able to fish but a couple of times this winter because of the wife's health, but I'm iching to go. I know you saw my posting of about a week ago of my catch in the swamp. I've been wanting to take you guys up on the night fishing for some time, but just couldn't make it..

we used to fish the crappie tournaments about 20 or so years ago, and we fished a few down at santee. thats about the extent of my crappie fishing down there, but i do love going down occasionally and trying to find a big kitty to do battle with. I dont know much about the area but looks like you got a system down pat thats paying off in the swamp.
