Is that the cove one of your buddys caught a rock in. I got an hour to spare, give me a call.
Headed out early, tried a minor cove pitching minnow tipped jig to the bank, couple of bites, but no catch.
Drove through the timber outside a cove others and I havefished all the way back to the back of, WOW, they were stacked up outside. Made a turn around and set out the rods andstarted catching some impressive crappie, mostly blacks, and one hybrid as abonus.
Fished 10-15 fow, fishing 5-10’ down. Some slammers some barely moved the line.
I swear I took a picture....
Oh, anyone wanting to help lay 120 pavers and spread six tons of river rock, PM me for the address.
Got home and planted three trees and three shrubs, that was added to the six shrubs planted Sunday.

Great minds think alike I postponed yard work as well to go fishing !
No, Mark, not the same cove. It is the cove I catch several limits from each spawn, testing to see what is going on, got thumped jigging a tree or two in my "spawn cove" but didn't hook up. Had a two runners my jig under bobber on the bank, but didn't hook up... might need to check my hook....

Sounds like a fun day before the work gets done. Congrats.
Thanks for the report. Was glad to see you the other day.
Same here, glad to see you and the wife. The cove I'm talking about is the one we were in together, outside to the left as you are leaving.
