On water at sunrise but bite slower to start. Picked up after sun came out, managed a nice limit and a 2 lb white bass. Hard time staying over fish with the wind blowing gale force at end. Thank you Lord for new trolling batteries. Water temp 54 deg. Caught most on Bobby Garland baby shad, white/chartreuse and devils grin. Fish were hitting on the fall between 2 and 8 feet in 24 fow. Fun day!

You had to work for those fish with the wind as strong as it was. Congrats

I know its hard to believe with the fishing around the lake being tough in spots. I lucked out on finding the brush pile that has a channel next to it that is holding hundred of fish. My locater screen fills up over a large area. It has been fun this past week with catching over 80 keepers with some over 12". Every time I've fished it there are other boats around catching too but must not be posting here. I would like to share but if the location was posted it would look like Bennet Springs on opening day.
