Default Early season action with some new bnm rods.

Buddy and myself hit up a favorite south jersey lake for some early season float and jig fishing. I recently bought the 7' sam heaton, 6.5" bnm ultralight crappie rod and the 7'6" crappie wizard. All three offered a differnent action and purpose. I didn't love the 6.5" "ultralight" was a little stiff and the top half kept twisting and coming off when casting. The heaton has a nice action and a nice backbone and the wizard is an excellent casting rod and is a joy to use with a float and jig.
Water temps were 52-54. All fish were caught in 6 feet of water.
    Some pics.

Nice catch. Love my wizards too. I have them in 7.6, 10, and 12ft.

Some really nice fishing there! Water temps up here are still in the low 40's, so we've got a ways to go yet. BTW, I have a couple of SHSS rods, both 7' & 9'. Great actions.
