Looks good! That is a NICE one!
Lots of folks have been helped by Rickie (rnvinc) on the electronics and depth finder forums here and on other sites. We took a few hours Monday afternoon to experiment with some new rods and my new electronics. Rickie has a post on the electronics forum about that.
Ky Lake was very stained and the water temps were still on the high 50s with lots of current. To say fishing was tough would be an understatement. When one gets to the ramp this time of year and there are very few trucks there, you know it's going to be tough.
I was pushing small crankbaits and Rickie was longlining jigs and roadrunners. That wasn't working so he decided to break out the planer boards that Chris (tenncrappie) on the TN forum builds. I've used them for several seasons and they work great for typical longlining rigs.
Here's Rickie with the only fish we put in the boat. She was released to keep on making babies.
