Help humminbird 798ciHD

My nav/gps section on the menu is gone dont have lake map section can't mark a spot etc.. Everything else is working fine. What's up?

Try double clicking menu and tab over to set up, I think. Look at "views". You may have to enable that view.

dont see a "views" under set up. Normally when i hit menu i have a nav box, but it is gone?

Sounds like your GPS module is not "being seen" by the unit.
Check connections to gps.
If the unit doesn't detect a gps antenna connected, it will only show sonar options and no gps options/menus

The 798ci HD SI is internal GPS ...

Try Restore Defaults under the Setup tab ...

Then make the "Accessories Test" view visible under the Views tab, exit out of the menu system, and cycle thru the views to the "Accessories Test" view and see if the GPS is connected ...

If that doesn't work ... You can connect an external GPS antenna or call HB ...

Thanks. Already did all that. It says it's not connected. Emailed humminbird waiting in response. Tried doing software update but no help
