Default Rigging bass boat for spider rigging ???

I've got a Ranger Z20 (20' bass boat), want to set it up for spider rigging for crappie.

Looking for Ideas for rod holders with mounts that allow for easy removal and with a base plate that wouldn't be in the way when bass fishing. Carpeted deck, no access from below deck for mounting.

Also, need to rig for side by side seating.

    What's worked well for you?

SpiderLock rod holders. Best out there. Smooth base plate, mounted with stainless screws. On yours just drill a pilot hole before installing screws. If I was going to use a double seat setup I would spend the extra money and get the one called Dub- L- Seat. Kinda expensive compared to some but much better built, has real warranty and he is insured incase something ever happened. He also machines the center post to fit your lock in ranger base.

Do yourself a favor, wait until you get your seat setup. Install it, then mount your rod holders on a small piece of plywood or board so you can move them around. Get in the seat and set holder where you think it will work. Then check it out for reach and position before permanent mounting. Remember your going to have to deploy and retrieve trolling motor around one holder.

We make and sell bases that will fit bass boats and other boats with no holes to be drilled and with no scratches. Some are shown mounted on Ranger bass boats. We make them to accommodate all Driftmaster and Santee rod holders including all T-Bars. We even make a special base for the Driftmaster T-250 Spider Rigging T-Bar. These are not new and have been on the market for over 14 years with over a thousand satisfied customers. Check us out at Extreme Fishing Concepts

Do you have a picture of it setup? I'm looking at doing this to my old Charger. I want to make sure I do it right the 1st time.
