I have two sets a small set and a large one 6" and about 10" both are very slim on the jaw end I bought both of these at BPS .I also have a long pair of hemostats which I use and a pair of surgical scissors to cut the line close to the hook so they can still feed without a line hanging out of their mouths if they are hooked deep which is usually not a prob with crappie but you never know what you may catch

I have a pair of surgical forcepts that I use. They are perfect cause they are curved a little and they can be locked down where you can twist & move them around and not slip off the hook. :D

Have the long forceps too, aren't they called hemostats in surgical lingo?
Anyways, they're the best hook removers I've used. My wife also uses them to help her put a worm on her hook without getting her fingers "yucky".
    I have a jig with a face like this!

I also like the hemostats, they work good for clipping to your shirt. That way they are always right there. No searching in the boat for them.

Thumbs up My hook removers ....

are the large (10") and small (6") surgical hemostats/forceps .... pocket knife for cutting mono / Fiskar scissors for cutting braid (when cutting the line is more prudent than trying to remove the hook) ......... cp

A tip to keep from losing your stuff I take a pce. of small nylon rope and go tru the handles of the hemostats and make the loop so I can hang them round my neck you could do the same thing with the small needle nose using a slip knot round the small part of pliers .
