Default South Louisiana White Bass Opportunities

I'm an avid pan fisherman and I'm looking for any information on good white bass opportunities. South Louisiana has water everywhere but I miss fishing a river or lock/dam for white bass. I've caught some small ones while searching for pre spawn sacalait during a 2 hour trip over last weekend. Throwing a white Johnson beetle grub (1in) 1ft behind a split shot. If anyone have any information that would be helpful let me know. Just the body of water and what type of success you've had.

Atchafalaya Basin, and Toledo Bend are both full of them, with Toledo having the bigger fish. They school hard there too, at the right time of the year...

I have heard south of henderson there is a wier/dam/ control stricture that when the water is flowing, just south of it they stack up. I dont know is if is bank fishing or by boat but it is south of the pontoon bridge at butte larose some where. Hope that helps, and good luck.
