I am planning on doing a guided crappie trip on my vacation in July.

Looking for suggestions of a good PLACE in ANY of these Ak. MO, TN, MS, LA and GUIDE...

ALSO

an estimate of what is a fair price for a guided half day or full crappie trip.

I can't help you on WHERE to go but if you get an idea of the general area you can connect with the local tourist bureau's website and they often have a list of local guides. Most of the guides have websites telling of their specialty if they have one and most list prices for their services.

An example of one is the following for the area in which I live which is the Kentucky Lake area.

You did not list Kentucky but you might consider it. Lots of good crappie and bass if that is also an interest.

If you come down to mississippi you will more than likely be pulling cranks in july! I dunno if you ever tried it but its fast paced fun. There are lots of guides on the ms board just give em a call.

JD .... look on the state forum of each of those states you listed, and see if they have a Crappie Guides thread (like Erin listed for the Miss. forum). And to add to what Clint has stated, you can find some good guides on several lakes in KY, listed in our Ky forum's Crappie Guide thread.

Rates seem to range a bit, but most I've seen usually charge ~$200/half day for 2 people and go as high as $400 for a full day. Most all of them offer all the equipment to fish with, but will allow you to bring some of your own. Many will clean your catch for you (as part of the package deal), some won't or will charge you extra for doing so. Some offer reduced rates or even "no pay" if the trip is a bust ... others don't, and will just take your money & say they're sorry that the fish weren't biting that day. So, my suggestion would be to research the guide, read all of their website info, and call them & discuss these things with them BEFORE you commit to using them as your guide.
