We planning a trip to the panhandle and would like some information on some good lakes or rivers to fish between Tallahassee and Lynn Haven Fla. We like to fish for bass (for sport) and panfish. Any information would greatly be appreciated. Suzieq

Talquin Lake just south of Tallahassee is a great crappie lake.

Thanks for the information and reply. Are there any areas of the lake that is better fishing. I can see by the map that it is a fairly large lake. Suzieq

    SusieQ,
The lake is full of standing timber. I have fished that lake for several years and the strange thing about this lake is the crappie are either all at the dam end in really deep water. (40 to 50 feet) or they are all almost at the other end by Williams Landing. I have never had much luck inbetween these areas.
    Hope this helps.
