    Default Love it when a plan comes together!


    Decided to try a local lake I previously only fished for bass after I recently got to the NW MO area several years ago. Usually these types of lakes only have stunted crappie but I thought I could at least catch a few "management crappie" and get a few keepers amongst the shorties. I pulled up to an obvious piece of cover and dropped my Aqua-Vew camera down to see if they were there and how deep they were holding if they were there. Saw a couple 8-10 feet down so I went slip-bobbering around the cover. I had 15 fish >9 within two hours and ended the day with 21 from 9"-12". Then there were these two nice males 15.5" and 16" to make a total of 23.
