    Head north.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

If you know what you're doing, it can be very good. Heard some of my buddies limited out fishing halfway up the creeks fishing jigs verrryyyy sloowwly. They caught a few walleyes doing that too, but they were mostly crappie fishing.

Went over to pomme this afternoon and caught 8 or so fishing jigs over brush 20 deep. Going to Roark tomorrow hopefully I can come up with a better report. That was me last year, I'm sure I will see you again this year. Maybe we can hook up and go when it picks up a little.

We went yesterday and struck out not even 1 bite. Was out on main lake. Didn't do good last weekend up the river either.

Fished south end of lake Sunday in several creeks. Limited out on crappie on jigs. 1/32 oz fished very slowly along channel ledges close to cover. The clearer creeks seemed to be better. Caught most of our fish a couple hours before dark. The secret is having a good graph to find the structure the fish are holding on. Side imaging really helps. I figure I only get very limited time to fish so I saved up a bunch of money to buy the best graph out there I could afford during the "off-season" (you can find many on sale during the winter). Only then did I start catching fish consistently. Before that, it was always a guessing game with a cheap graph and very limited coverage.
