Default Help me with placement of rod holders

Just got in four, three rod holder spyderloks. I would like to be able to long line for crappie and possibly do some spider rigging. How should I position my mounts on my boat? Thanks.

Post a picture of your deck taken from the middle of the boat.

With out seeing your boat I am inclined to say 2 up front for spider rig and two in back for long lining.

Whenever ya think you have located them best. Stow and deploy trolling motor and open and close hatches to make sure no interference. Sucks to get all done and have to rethink it all over again.

Get you a piece of plywood about 12 in square, mount holder, then sit in seat and move it around untill you find the most comfortable spot. Take into consideration that your trolling motor will have to be launched and retrieved around one set. Works best if you have some help to hold in place. One you get it set up put a rod in holder to make sure it's not to close Orr to far away. Same on the rear of boat.
