At nearly $5 per 3pk ... they better be some serious fish catching jig heads

Google Search came up with this : https://www.google.com/webhp?sourcei...tler%20panfish

Several brands of glass insert rattles are out there ... even Bobby Garland has them ... and you can use whatever jig head you already have & insert the rattle into the soft plastic body of whatever brand/style of jig body you use (that a 9/16" Bobby Garland glass rattle will fit inside of).
Or check out the Amazon link : Amazon.com : 50 Worm Jig Fishing Lure Glass Rattles Insert Tube Rattles Shake Attract Fly Tie Tying a Rod Tamer Strap for Free : Sports & Outdoors (their smallest is 3mm x 16mm or 0.12in x 0.63in) @ $10 for 50 rattles.

Most any brand will sell at approx. $0.50 per rattle, from what I've seen. So it boils down to size of the rattle vs size/shape of the plastic body being used.

someone gave me one a while back with a lake fork soft bait on it and i thought they told me it was fella from around these parts that made them ,the actual rockport rattlers that is . but one thing is for certain they are a bit to pricey for my blood . i will most certainly lose the thing the first pitch as thats how the nice jigs go when i tie them on . murphys law i think ....LOL

To me they are an open water trolling type jig, it was funny how the rules changed in the Crappie Masters tourneys to accomadate them, nothing like sponsorship.

Two kinds..pan fish rattler , 3 per pk....or the outlaw max (three hook) 2 per pack...both under $5...That is not much money when it could catch the extra fish that puts you in the money..That three hook model WILL catch anything that comes close..
