Default Tied my first jigs tonight and ......

had fun learning what to do and not to do. Here is a picture of the jigs. I painted the heads with powder coat and went at it. I know they are crude but I'll keep plucking away at it. Would apprieciate any suggestions y'all have. Thanks Fred

cover your eye's with foil, once you coat the eye its very hard to get them clean when using powder coat

Nice effort. Especially that 4th one. I used to kill with a jig like that.
Good things come to those who bait.

    Question Hey Fred ....

are those "Herrington Specials" or "Green River Getters" :D

They do look like they'd catch a fish, and you'll get better and more creative with time. Keep up the good work !! ........... cp

They look pretty good, I'm not sure if I like the squared off tail, but the colors look good. And like the others said, the more you tie, the better and easier it will be for you. Not bad at all for your first run. Keep us posted on your progress.
You can't fish with a hung line!
