My youngest caught a 6 or 7 pound drum when he was about 5 years old. He wasn't going to rest until we ate his fish, so I filleted it, breaded and tried to cook it. The stink ran us out of the camper and had to finish cooking it over a campfire.

One bite of that drum was enough to last me a lifetime, nobody else would try it.

Your post had me cracking up.

Also made me glad I've always thrown them back

And since this is CRAPPIE.com, his first "all by myself" fish.
