sad news
Yesterday, the ashes of an old friend was released off our dock. It was a sad occasion, but our friend had been sick many years. He and his wife were our neighbors at the lake, but sold out and moved to Troy, Tn where they lived originally. He loved his crappie fishing and so does his wife. He was 86 and they had just recently celebrated their 65 anniversary. He will be missed by us.

Sad. I think it would be an honor to have one's ashes spread at a place that meant so much in life.

Sorry to hear of that Tom. Good friends are more valuable than hard currency. I think it's an honor to have him where you can visit when you feel the need. My Mom and Dad were both cremated and scattered off of their good friends dock on the Banana River in Cocoa Beach. They lived on a dead end street so that no matter who lived there I can just stand at the end of the street and visit. I know you'll miss him. You now have someone to offer a toast to when you enjoy your dock also. All my family knows that those are my final wishes also.
