    Question

Tell me the purpose of that style hook. Is it for tipping with a minnow, or something else?

They are a wider gap hook that allows a more solid hook set. most of the time it hooks in the roof of the mouth instead of the paper thin lips.

Those are some good looking jigs! I think I like the idea of using the sickle hooks also! Your plastics look good also, I might have to pony up and get some! :D

Do you make them in 1/8oz ? Those will be great perch imitations for walleye fishing this spring.
