Default trying lake Oconee for the 1st time

I'm new to the forum and I love it! I'm going to Oconee tomorrow morning and I'm getting on the water at Swords boat ramp. Please give me any tips or locations that I use to fill my live well. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the mad house. Post this question down on the Georgia board and you should get some local help.

If you are not familiar with this area at all do not run your outboard, you will ruin a lower unit on an underwater stump field just under the water and they are all over the place, go with someone who knows who can show you around, or just use your trolling motor if by yourself, trust me when I say this it will save you some grief and $$$$.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely keep that in mind being that I just replaced my lower unit!
