The I-pilot link can be linked to hummingbird depth finders and only them. The I-pilot cannot be linked to any depth finders so unless you plan on linking to your finders buy the I-pilot as it is a lot cheaper and has the same boat functions. 12 or 24 depends on your boat and how you fish. Buy the biggest you can afford and have room for the batteries. You can never have to much thrust or battery power.

I've got one I'm thinking of selling but shipping to Mississippi would be expensive.

tigerinfielder3, what kind of boat are you wanting to put it on? I have one on a Ranger RT188, and previously had one on a Triton VT19. I think mine is 24V 80# thrust, more than enough power for the mentioned boats. I would recommend that you get the iPilot link and hook it up to a couple of Hummers. I can assure you it is one heck of a setup and worth every penny you spend on it. I bought my iPilot from shutupandfish on this site, good prices, fast shipping, and great to deal with.
