    Default Fixing Bobber with Spring?

Just heard about these bobbers and I like the versatility:

    Crappie Cork - Thill

I know how to rig it for slip bobber fishing but what do you do with that spring for fixed bobber fishing? How do you rig it for fixed bobber fishing?

There is a V groove (notch) cut into the lower stem portion under the spring. To install float on your line slide the lower end of the spring up past the notch, lay line in the notch, then release the spring. This will hold your float in place.

Thanks RMGeorge, I've used the notch type before, was wondering if this type had a notch.
