lake Brewer help

Im meeting a friend and his wife up at Lake Brewer this weekend to try crappie fishing. Never seen the lake before ,so if anyone could help me out a little bit it would really make the trip alot more fun for us. I am set spider to,but really new to it. I hear the water is really clear and I haven't ever tried crappie in clear water.PLEASE HELP

Check the fishing report page on here under Arkansas as I had put them on there I thought. Can't remember as that's been a while back.

Slab last time I was there the fish were in 20-30 fow hold loosely on the brush but not in it. They like the old river channel. Minnows out produced jigs that day.
